But illumination at photographing has also another, even more great value as means of reception of artly expressive picture. Illumination allows to reveal volume, the form and the invoice of subjects, i.e. the pivotal elements of art expressiveness of a picture. In each separate case character of illumination depends on a plot of shooting and those art purposes which are put before itself by the photographer.
