Matte glass objective
At tip-off on matte glass objective moving at first needs to be made quickly that it is easy to catch its approached position. Having found this position, objective movement should be made more slowly and already within a small zone of its moving. In the absence of a magnifying magnifier to look at matte glass it is necessary from distance of the best sight. Not which fans too approach the person to matte glass and commit it the big error: overstraining sight, they worsen visibility and by that strongly complicate to itself process tip-off. Accuracy on vodka strongly suffers from it. To use a magnifier it is necessary only after tip-off it is made without it and only for final specification tip-off. A way tip-off by means of a scale of distances - one of the least perfect and the least convenient. It can give good results only at exact enough definition of distance from the device to object of shooting. This accuracy the more important, than is more focal length of an objective of the chamber (that speaks smaller depth of sharpness of such objectives) and than more close to the chamber there is a photographed subject as with reduction of distance from the device to a subject depth of sharply represented space decreases. Amateur photographers at whom devices have for tip-off on sharpness only a scale of distances, should learn more or less precisely measure distance by eye. Possible errors are to a certain extent compensated by depth of sharpness of an objective, but, anyway, they should not exceed 10-15 % from the defined distance. For shooting on location cases beginning photos can recommend to fans at the beginning a way optimum tip-off for sharpness on a scale of the distances, based on the most favourable use of depth of sharpness of an objective. The way consists in certain constant installation of an objective and shooting at a constant aperture of a diaphragm that gives the chance to make shooting from some, usually small distances. Tip-off on sharpness by means of a range finder mechanically connected with a frame of an objective, is the most perfect, providing split-hair accuracy. As the primary goal tip-off on sharpness consists in maintenance of sharpness of the main object of shooting, tip-off it is necessary to conduct on this object. For simplification and specification tip-off it make on the brightest detail of the main object of shooting. So, on an example, at portrait shooting close up tip-off is better to make on eyes of the photographed. At shooting of a full-length portrait or at shooting of groups it is the most convenient to make tip-off on the brightest details of clothes close located to the person (a collar, a tie and etc.).
